Beautiful. And I agree with TitaniumUrsa. I really wish they would teach us about Nikola Tesla and not Thomas Edison. Edison stole so many ideas from him and it's awful, yet he's still praised as some genius inventor. Tesla didn't care about money like Edison did, Tesla wanted a better future for all humans. It's such a shame that he isn't even put in our history textbooks. No surprise, though, they're made in Texas (the American ones anyways), it's unlikely they'll ever add Tesla.

If I was a teacher, I would teach kids about Tesla rather than that dickhead Edison. I don't care about any other objections anyone else would raise. I would even have the audacity to tell the Edison wasn't actually the one to invent the lightbulb.

This poor guy got burned bad by Edison who I have little use for. Nic's lights were better and he was right about A/C current. Makes me sick to think they are still pushing Edison as the genius of electricity when all he did was hire and rob bright minds.

Cool illustration. Too bad Tesla was quite inept when it came to anything outside of technology and science. He was awful when it came to finance and handling people which then undermined his opportunity to get more done with his projects and ideas.

He was still quite inspirational since he further proved that those who seem insane are actually quite brilliant.

Nikola Tesla was an eccentric man to say the least. The stories I have heard of the man, whose singular goal was to see free electricity flowing through the planet, were pretty wild and often came across as outlandish. The Mythbusters brought up one story or myth about how Tesla invented a device that was small enough to be carried by hand yet was powerful enough to shake a building's foundation using what we understand to be resonant frequency of the material it was attached to. The myth concluded that as the building was beginning to shake, Tesla grew afraid of the device and thus took a hammer to break it off.

Wow, a very Christian quote... He directly quoted the bible with "the stars in the firmament". Most of the famous inventors and scientists of history were Christian (despite those who would deny history). Even Einstein had a very spiritual belief system and made many arguments for God that I can personally relate with. Belief in God motivates science and discovery like nothing else. That's because as a Christian we want to become closer to and better understand God and the Bible makes clear that Creation reflects the Creator... So what better way is there to know the nature of God, but to study the intricacies and inner workings of His creation? I hope to see you in Heaven Nikola.

He is talking about human society and how groups
are a natural phenomenon of living social creatures,
just like the stars in their clusters, yet all gravitating
in a balance of natural order. Every star is different,
but they are all bound to one another by attracting
or repulsing forces, all in equilibrium.

I think I understand yes. But honestly speaking,
stars don't speak bad things, but they radiate
massive lethal radioactive rays. I thinks bad
talk is preferable to direct exposure to a star.

And yet, Earth would be uninhabitable (at least to life as we know it) without the star with which it orbits and the rays it produces.

Absolutely. The excess of both are bad.
Only equilibrium permits life and evolution.

How so. Right there Tesla is speaking of the Firmament which is the entire basis of Flat Earth / biblical astronomy, that the stars are luminaries, fixed in place within a firmament.
